Do children usually seek Parents’ help in finding solutions? It’s absolutely normal for parents to help their children. Where else can the child go?
But sometimes, the child can develop the habit to get answers to every problem, without spending time on it. This can make the child dependent and they may lack the ability to find solutions on their own. In the long run, it may also create difficulty to make choices and take decisions in life.
As a parent, it is our responsibility to develop the child’s mindset to focus on finding the solutions rather than the problems. This will help children become confident, independent, and successful when they learn how to find solutions by themselves. Guide them in the direction to find the solution, rather than handing over the solution! A well-developed Emotional Intelligence (EQ) in children can help them understand the Plus and the Minus of everything in life and make decisions accordingly.
